The Doctor

Dr Arthur Tseng is a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, who sub-specialises in Urogynaecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Gleneagles Hospital.

He completed his basic medical and professional degrees in the United Kingdom, and underwent further training in his subspecialty interest with world renown Urogynaecologist, Professor Linda Cardozo, at King’s College Hospital, London. Apart from urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, his pet interest is in the holistic management of Overactive Bladder Syndrome, and other functional bladder conditions.

Prior to joining Gleneagles Hospital, Dr Tseng was based at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital; working as part of a dedicated team, to generate greater public consciousness of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, offering treatment and cure for such conditions that adversely affect the quality of life of many women.

In raising public awareness of urogynaecological conditions, Dr Tseng has been an active speaker at public forums held by the Singhealth cluster, KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS) and the Society for Continence (Singapore).

Dr Tseng is also a regularly invited speaker at both local and international Obstetric and Gynaecological conferences, speaking on subject matters pertaining to management of Urinary Tract Infections, Overactive Bladder Syndrome and Stress Urinary Incontinence. He also presents his research work on such occasions, and has won awards for “Best Paper” presentations, in his pet topics.

 

Apart from work commitments, Dr Tseng also previously divided his time to teaching as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, and at the Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. He was also a council member of the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Singapore (OGSS), since 2007 onwards; having served as Honorary Treasurer for the council, from 2008 to 2010. Dr Tseng has been involved in many public forums, scientific congresses and charitable, fund-raising activities under the umbrella of the OGSS.
